Levels
Class placement is based on age and ability that serves the individual
needs of each dancer. After observation, the faculty may advise an appropriate level different than that of a student's
age group.
Attendance and Punctuality
Students are encouraged to be punctual and regular in their attendance.
Late arrivals of more than 15 minutes must observe the remainder of the class rather than participate so as to avoid injury
and avoid disrupting the class in progress.
Dress Code
Creative Movement: Leotard,
pink footed tights, pink ballet slippers. Hair drawn back and neatly secured. Elastic waist skirts only. Ballet/Pointe: Any
color leotard, pink footed tights, full sole leather or canvas ballet shoes (skirts are permitted). Hair up and secured
in a bun (no ponytails). No excess jewelry, shorts, or street wear. Pointe shoes are to be fitted and approved
by your ballet instructor. Modern:
Leotard and footless tights and/or tight jazz pants or capris, bare feet, hair in ponytail. Jazz: Leotard, tights or fitted
t-shirt/tank, jazz pants, back jazz shoes (jazz sneakers), hair in ponytail. Tap: Leotard, fitted shirt, tights or jazz pants.
NO jeans ot street wear. Hair in ponytail. Tap shoes must be approved bt Ms. Fran. Ages 4-8, black patent leather
flat tap shoes. Preteen to adult, black jazz/tap shoes. Hip
Hop: Leotard or fitted shirt. jazz pants or sweat pants, sneakers or jazz sneakers, hair in
ponytail.
