  “Creating Dance Excellence” is the motto
of New York Dance. As a conservatory for the performing arts, artistic director Francesca Flanagan is thrilled
to continue to bring the joy of dance and a new musical theatre program to students of all ages. With her
dedicated faculty, they bring their worldwide, extensive experience along with their fun-loving, nurturing spirit creating
an environment where all students can thrive and achieve their full potential as a dancer and a person. Dance
education at all levels instilling correct technique and training, master classes, field trips, performing companies and exciting
summer programs enhance this creative and dynamic school.

Ballet Master
CHRISTIAN CLAESSENS
 Christian danced with the Dutch National Ballet (soloist), as well as with the Pittsburgh Ballet Company and the Kansas City Ballet Company. He was the
Director of the Scarsdale Ballet Studio (15 years) and Director of the Purchase Youth Ballet (SUNY). Mr. Claessens has been
teaching in all the major Ballet Schools in Westchester and is a sought after master teacher. Many of his former students
have gone on to professional careers currently dancing with the New York City Ballet and the American Ballet Theatre. We are
thrilled to have such an extraordinary teacher join our current ballet masters Roman Baca and Lisa Fitzgerald!
